About ACPR

Australian Consumer Patient Rights (ACPR) is a non-formal not for profit organisation, dedicated to reducing the number and severity of adverse drug reactions to psychotropic medications.

We aim to do this by increasing awareness about the risks associated with these drugs and by educating Australians about pharmacogenomics; a potentially life saving science that tests the genetic capabilities of an individual in relation to 30% of prescription drugs.

We also advocate the necessity of informed consent – understanding all the risks and benefits associated with a drug - for individuals planning on taking psychotropic medications.
